Services

Assessments

Conservation starts with an assessment of the object’s condition and a discussion about your goals for its preservation and treatment. An assessment does not commit you to conserving the piece, but may help you decide your next steps.

Surveys

Collections surveys can be useful for understanding the overall needs of your artworks and artifacts. Surveys may assist in establishing priorities for preservation and conservation treatment, and generally include recommendations for overall care of your valuable collection.

Treatment

Conservation treatment involves documenting and physically altering your art, artifacts, or heirlooms. All treatments are performed in accordance with the American Institute for Conservation’s Code of Ethics.

About Paige

I earned my Master of Arts from Buffalo State University’s Program in Art Conservation, specializing in Objects Conservation and with a focus on Wooden Objects. I have worked and interned at institutions such as The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, The Frick Collection, Biltmore, and The Mariners’ Museum and Park. Through my private practice, I have worked for individuals and organizations, including the James River Institute for Archaeology and Bridgewater College. I am a Professional Member of the American Institute for Conservation.

When I am not working, I enjoy bettering my skills as a woodworker, rock climbing, and hiking with my dog and family.
